6 Essentials for Spring 2016

8:44 PM

The weather has been crazy this year. Where I live, it's normally really warm by this time of year. We do get the random rain once upon a time, but not as much as we've been getting it this year. Luckily though, it's been getting warmer everyday *she types as it looks like it's about to pour outside*. We're one week into March, which means Spring (break) is coming soon and everyone starts getting really excited! So, what are 10 essentials for this Spring? Either for Spring Break or just Spring... here's a list of what you must have in your wardrobe for this season!

1. Slip Dress

This 90s trend is back at full speed this season and I'm loving it! These dresses are oh, so cute and perfect for Spring! There's so many alternatives for these dresses... If it's still too chilly to wear it bare, layer it on top of a sweater. Wear with sneakers, sandals or heels. Choose a long one for the beach or a short one for a night out. If you want to get the most out of it, buy one in a neutral color, or go for a floral one to make a statement.

Berry Trendy tip: Slip blouses are a great  option too!

2. Top with exposed shoulders

This was another major trend for this season and almost every designer showed it on the runway. It's a super easy trend to adapt to your own wardrobe. Also, this is a way in which you can show a little skin without being to revealing and still manage to look sexy. 3. Bright bags

I love colorful bags but they're hard to combine with clothes. How many colors are too many? You know what I'm saying? This season is all about bright bags. You can definitely wear colorful bags and totally rock them this Spring!

Berry Trendy tip: Go for a crossbody bag if you're going out at night during Spring Break. This way you won't have to carry your beach bag all around!

4. Cool Sunglasses

I've been obsessing over so many new and crazy sunglasses shapes, I really want them all! Now that the sun is coming out, you really need a pair for this Spring, right?

4. One-Piece Swimsuit

One-Piece swimsuits are great because you can double them as a bodysuit. You can wear them for the pool and the beach and also under some denim shorts or a skirt with a kimono on top. Two for one sounds better, doesn't it?

5. Stripes Everything

On shirts, blouses, pants, sweaters, skirts. Thin or thick, black and white, bold and colorful...Stripes on everything are totally in for Spring! Who doesn't love the good old striped black and white shirt?

6. Everything Denim

The 70s and 90s are back this season in the form of denim. Denim is comfy and apparently chic too. You need to have a a button front skirt in your wardrobe for Spring, as well as a lot of jeans, denim jackets and everything you can get your hands on that's made out of denim!
